Concurrently Japan’s “aggressive psycho rhythm” 4 piece Cyberne are hitting Australian shores for the first time. To the uninitiated the Cyberne sound is somewhat like The Jesus Lizard on steroids, speed and acid simultaneously. But essentially this description falls so far short of the full story and one can only rectify this by witnessing them live and in the flesh. A Cyberne live show grabs you by the short and curlies and reminds you just why you fell in love with live music in the first place.
The evening will be headlined with The Hard Ons alumni Nunchukka Superfly, providing stoner tinged rock and punk tunes, while sexual swing/grind juggernaut Battle Pope and crusty punk darlings Video Nasty open up the evening. This show is all ages, entry is $10.
